Sometimes despite the best efforts of our team, a tooth might need to be removed due to decay, trauma or disease. At East Texas Dental we do everything to promote healing, prevent complications and make you feel comfortable throughout and after the extraction. Before every extraction an anesthetic is administered to make your mouth numb to pain and reduce discomfort. We appreciate that tooth extraction can make some patients especially anxious, in such cases we also offer the option of sedation. Keeping the patient calm and relaxed also allows for a quicker procedure reducing bleeding, minimizing complications and promoting recovery.
